Momentum 

You need to create some momentum again in order to move forward in a positive direction. Creating this momentum begins by evaluating your current family and home life. We need to reflect and open our eyes to the blind-spots. This process will enable us to gauge where we are and help us to determine where we want to go. Raising strong, independent, responsible and loving children does not just magically happen. Strong lasting marriages are not going to happen by themselves either. Our savings account is not going to grow, nor our debt decrease unless we focus attention to it.

Here is a solution to help you "get a handle" on your families planning.  Every year my husband and I take some time to do an amazing "Family Audit" on our lives, each of our children, our home, our future, our vacations, etc. We want to make sure we are staying attentive to what is genuinely important and not get distracted by things like baseball games and dance recitals.  Take a moment to ask yourself if there are things that are slipping through the cracks? Are we actively training up our kids? Are we still dreaming as a couple?
